He is the shortest of the Eight and he wears a white mask. His weapon of choice is yatagan. He is part of team 4 and is partnered with Goto.
In the sequel, Dance in the Vampire Bund The Scarlet Order, which takes place 7 years later, Shinva makes an appearance as he is partnered with Akira. Shinva's height has changed dramatically during the time skip, and he now towers over Akira. Shinva is also shown to have a romantic interest in Yuki Saegusa, as he is seen blushing whenever she arrives and is always keeping a close eye out for her.
